Questions
Asked, answered
Who handles payments and insurance claims?
The doctor's office — always. DIYL books the appointment and stops there. Claims, billing, and card payments for a visit are handled by the office, never by DIYL.
What does it cost patients?
Nothing. Booking through DIYL is free for patients — there is no patient fee and no patient subscription.
Which languages does DIYL speak?
Patients choose from 90+ languages. The complete booking flow — search, insurance check, booking, reminders — runs in 23 languages, including Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and Hebrew in right-to-left script.
How does my office join?
Request an invite at sales@madeclearworks.com. Before booking switches on, we verify your office on a short call — so every listing on DIYL is a real office.
What if a patient needs to cancel?
Patients cancel free up to 48 hours before the appointment — and their doctor's own weekend days don't count toward those 48 hours. The freed slot reopens instantly, so another patient can take it.
Does DIYL work in Canada as well as the United States?
Yes. Doctors are listed from the official registries of both countries — the national provider registry in the US, and the provincial colleges in Canada.
Does DIYL give medical advice or offer telehealth visits?
No. DIYL books appointments — it does not provide medical care, advice, or video visits. After booking, everything about your care stays between you and your doctor's office.
Who is behind DIYL?
DIYL is a product of Made Clear Works. Offices contract with Made Clear Works; DIYL is the booking service we build and run for them.
